Can non-affiliates use animated emotes on Twitch? No — only Twitch Affiliates and Partners can upload animated emotes to their channel, but non-affiliates can prepare them now and use animated emotes through 7TV, BetterTTV or FrankerFaceZ.
Why is my Discord emoji too big?Because the file is over Discord’s 256 KB emoji limit — resize it to 128×128, remove the background and cut colors or frames, and it will upload.
How many frames can a Twitch animated emote have?Up to 60 frames — but 8 to 16 frames usually loop more smoothly and keep the GIF comfortably under Twitch’s 512 KB per-size limit.
Does Twitch auto-resize emotes?Yes — Twitch can take one square image (for animated emotes, a GIF from 112 to 4096 px under 1 MB) and make the 112, 56 and 28 px sizes itself, though uploading your own three sizes gives you control over the 28 px one.
How do I make an emote from a picture?Crop the picture to a tight square around the face, remove the background, exaggerate the expression, add an outline and export 112, 56 and 28 px versions — or upload it here and get a locked character with emotes made for you.
What size is a Discord sticker?A Discord sticker must be exactly 320×320 pixels and under 512 KB, as a PNG or an animated APNG.
What images do I need for a PNGTuber?Four images on the same canvas — idle (mouth closed), talking (mouth open), blink while idle and blink while talking — with two (idle and talking) as the bare minimum.
What size are Twitch sub badges?Twitch sub badges are 18×18, 36×36 and 72×72 pixel transparent PNGs, each under 25 KB — and bits badges use the same sizes.
