Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account: email address, and name and picture if you sign in with Google.
• Pictures you upload (PNG, JPG or WEBP, up to 10 MB each) and the short texts you type (names, sign text, custom moves).
• What you generate: sprite sheets, character sheets, and the characters you save.
• Payments: order records from Stripe (amount, product, status). We never see or store card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address and browser details for security, rate limits and fraud prevention; first-visit source (referrer, UTM tags).

What stays in your browser

The free tools (resizers, emote checker, PNGTuber tester) never upload your files. Slicing, encoding, compliance checks, zips and PDFs in the workbench also happen in your browser. The PNGTuber talk test reads your microphone level locally; nothing is recorded or sent.

Who processes it

Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, bot protection with Turnstile), Stripe (payments), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), our AI image-model provider (it receives your reference pictures and our prompt for each generation and keeps its copy of generated files for up to 14 days), and our email provider for sign-in codes and job emails. We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded originals: deleted automatically after 2 days.
• Generated sprite sheets and results: deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Your character’s reference pictures and confirmed sheet: kept until you delete the character in My characters (this is what lets you come back and make more). Deleting a character removes its files and outfit versions.
• Publicly shared characters keep copies of up to 8 emote sheets while sharing is on; turning sharing off deletes them.
• Account and payment records: as long as your account exists, and payment records as long as tax law requires.

Cookies

First-party cookies only: your sign-in session and a first-visit attribution cookie. Analytics, where enabled, are privacy-focused and proxied through this site.

Your choices

Delete any character yourself at any time. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email support@animatedemotemaker.com from your account’s address. The service is not meant for children under 13, and you must not upload pictures of other people without their consent.
